Our New Adventure

We all anticipate the time of life when we achieve our highest goals and receive a just reward. In 2000 Jr and I moved to Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat and I believed that was to be our biggest challenge. Eight years at the hacienda has built a good business and we have many repeat customers. And now our incredible story has found a new beginning . In 2008 we purchased four hectares of land, two kilometers from the ruin of Uxmal. The last people to live in this dense tropical forest were the Maya. We have cleared a base camp and cut trails that wind over and around platform ruins. There are lots of wild birds, peacocks, Amazon parrots, and miniature owls. We plan to offer personal tours to guests who stay at the hacienda. Please follow our journal as we embark on our biggest challenge yet - bringing back the spirit of the Maya.
