Hacienda, Tasting  & Cenote tour

Discover the natural wonders of the Yucatan while learning the history of some of the most magnificent haciendas in the Yucatan. You first visit one of the largest most spectacular haciendas found in the Yucatan, Yaxcopoil. This former henequen hacienda is now a museum show-casing the Green Gold era of the Yucatan. Next you will visit one of the largest natural wells in the Yucatan, Kankirixche. Better known as cenotes, these surface and underground bodies of fresh water hold great historical and cultural significance to the people of the region.  Later visit Hacienda Ochil, operating as restaurant and museum, to sample famous regional cuisine. An added treat to this hacienda experience is the above-mentioned liquors tasting tour.

Colonial Cities & Dzitnup tour

You will visit one of the most sacred cities of the Yucatan, Izamal. In the ancient Mayan era this was the center of pilgrimage to honor their most important Mayan god.

In the Spanish era the largest convent in America was constructed, second only to the Vatican in Rome. The city hosts a sculpture of the Holy Virgin Mary visited by Pope John Paul II in 1993. Next you will visit one of the most important colonial cities of the Yucatan, Valladolid. In this old colonial city much of the Mayan/Spanish history began. Many of the most famous Yucatecan dishes were created in this city. After the city you will visit Dzitnup, a cenote and cave, one of the most beautiful in the Yucatan.

Becal & Campeche

You will visit the town of Becal made famous for its original hand made panama hats. At this town you will meet one family that is dedicated to the production, a family member will describe the procedure that makes the hats from this town the best.

Next onto the city of Campeche, which has been declared a world heritage site. This historical, walled city with a well preserved downtown is considered one of the jewels of colonial Mexico. This city is famous for its gastronomy based on seafood, European ingredients and Yucatecan spices.

Sotuta de Peon tour

Visit the Hacienda Sotuta de Peon, a present day working henequen hacienda and experience the Green Gold era of the Yucatan. You visit the henequen fields and witness the harvest and production process. You will then ride the henequen tracks on a horse drawn cart to visit an underground cenote.

Dzibilchaltun, Uaymitun & Progreso tour

Arrive at the archaeological site and museum of Dzibilchaltun and view the culture and architecture of the ancient Maya. Visit the temple of the seven dolls, which produces an interesting light and shadow phenomena on the days of the equinox. Then onto Uaymitun on the northern coastline where you can view pink flamingos and other species of coastal birds. Then you will visit the port town of Progreso where you can leisurely enjoy the beach, shops, and restaurants.

Uxmal Light & Sound show tour

You will visit the famous Mayan ruin of Uxmal, which depicts the Puuc architectural style. The light and sound show fills the air surrounding the ruin with a feeling of energy, mysticism, and power. You can enjoy dinner after the show.

Uxmal & Kabah tour

Enjoy exploring the famous site of Uxmal along with the interesting site of Kabah. One of the most interesting buildings of Kabah is almost completely covered by stone masks of the Mayan rain god Chac.

Ruta Puuc & Loltun tour

This tour takes you to the Mayan ruins of Sayil and Labna. These ruins lie further down the Puuc route from Uxmal and Kaba. These less traveled but equally interesting sites, will give a visitor greater insight into the Puuc style architecture. Next you will visit one of the most beautiful cave systems of the Yucatan, Loltun. This huge cave system is a museum of differing stone formations and ancient Mayan drawings.

Chichen Itza tour

Visit the most famous ancient Mayan ruin in the Yucatan. Chichen Itza is the best archaeological example of Mayan-Toltec culture in the Yucatan. This huge ruin site consists of many significant Mayan structures as well as a huge sacrificial cenote.

Celestun Biosphere Reserve tour

Ride a boat through the lagoons of the Celestun Biosphere reserve observing regional flora and fauna. View the biggest settlement of pink flamingoes on the coastline of the Yucatan. Enjoy the pleasure of the small fishing town of Celestun, have lunch and relax on the beach.

Cuzama Cenote tour

The tour takes you to the village of Chuncanan. From there you will board a horse drawn cart, which will take you into the jungle down the old henequen tracks. Time permitting you can enjoy three of the most beautiful cenotes in the Yucatan. Snorkel, swim and dive in these natural underground water systems.
