The hacienda accommodations are all different, charming, colorful and restful. Like an old European Inn, material elements, colonial furnishings and regional decor create a harmonious ambiance. Porticos, old walls and ornate arches reflect old Mexico and bring old hacienda living back into style.

The LUXURY Collection

The Jaguar Suite is an extravaganza of colors and décor with Victorian antiques. This fully air-conditioned three-room plus private bath suite is to be truly desired. The wood king-sized bed centers a large fully furnished bedroom with TV/DVD. The spacious front room furnished with four comfortable chairs, great for relaxing and reading while enjoying a peaceful garden view. A door from the front room opens to a private sunny terrace, another to the shaded arched terrace. The spa room has an extra large spa tub sunken in bay window setting and functionally detailed with two hand carved stone jaguars. The spa room has bar sink and refrigerator and music system. Don de San Pedro is a large room in sultry fresh greens encased with tall ornate hand crafted custom designed wrought iron windows. The bathroom is adorned with a Jacuzzi; hand cut stone sink and walk-in shower. The room has a semi-private pool and private entertainment area with bar and stereo. The room has air conditioning, king bed and top end mattress, 400 thread count linens with custom wrought iron and pine furnishings equipped with TV/DVD. A bit upscale the room is tucked in a private area for our guests who want to be alone.

Donna de San Pedro, Iona' s favorite for its tranquil blues, rich red accented_highlights and quality bedding. The ROMANTIC Collection

The Marcello room, the original bedroom of the Casa Principal has a king sized hacienda hand made four-poster bed and matching armoire. The air-conditioned room has quality linens and has a breezy view from the shade of the front portico. Some of our best rooms are in the Casa de Maquinas. Spacious living, king-beds with quality posturepedic mattresses, en-suite bathroom, walk-in showers, air-conditioning and TV/VCR. The Marbella room is located poolside with rattan wicker, detailed with sky blue hues and natural green accented_highlights. The Magnolia room is also poolside beside the large chimney furnished with some wicker accented_highlights with white outlined green walls with blue tones. The FAMILY Collection

The air-conditioned family rooms in the Casa de Maquinas have two queen beds, en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and TV/VCR. The Mariposa room is poolside central, brightly colored it has a wicker rocker and room for a child’s crib. The Lilia room is a corner room beside the massive chimney it has a foyer entrance with a crib convertible child’s bed. This room the colors of Mexico springtime lilies and has a nice cross breeze. The Family Casita is fully air-conditioned with two bedrooms, kitchen/living room with a small private bathroom. The main room has a kitchen area with fridge, table service plus a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, love seat, chair and TV/VCR. The adult’s bedroom has a double bed and the children’s bedroom has two single beds.

The casita could easily sleep a family of four (recommended for families with two small children). It is located garden side to the hacienda in a garden setting filled with four types of bananas and many other fruit trees. It has a great view to the century old chicle, zapote tree.
